Description:

​Blackhawk Network is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer II for its Servicing Engineering team in Bangalore. This role centers on building modern, scalable web workflows across BHN’s global branded payment platform. The position requires an engineer with strong front-end depth in React alongside solid backend implementation skills in Java and Spring Boot. A key focus of this role is operating inside an AI-augmented development environment, utilizing developer productivity tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate prototyping, code quality, and feature deployment across end-to-end integration layers.

​Requirements:

• ​2–5 years of professional software engineering experience operating across full-stack applications.
• ​Strong experience in React and modern JavaScript / TypeScript development. Good understanding of front-end architecture, component design, and responsive state management patterns.
• ​Good hands-on experience building and consuming backend APIs and web services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• ​Proficiency using AI-led developer productivity tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar coding assistants) to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and refactoring. Must apply engineering judgment to validate AI-generated output before production use.
• ​Build user-facing workflows and integrate front-end applications with backend architectures to contribute to end-to-end feature delivery across UI, API, and integration layers.
• ​Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews, technical discussions, debugging, and continuous platform optimization.
• ​Experience with modern UI libraries, design systems, micro-frontend patterns, exposure to AWS cloud-native development, and familiarity with monitoring or system observability tools.
